You are invited to attend a workshop with Christchurch City Council and Regenerate Christchurch.
The purpose of the workshop is to help develop an overarching vision and objectives for the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor.
Regeneration is about people, place and prosperity. For Christchurch, it’s about creating a vibrant city that has opportunities for people to grow, connect and thrive.
Regenerate Christchurch is now in the process of developing a regeneration plan for the Ōtākaro Avon River corridor – the former red zone land from Barbadoes Street to Bexley.
To create a meaningful vision, collectively we need to answer the question, ‘what is the greatest contribution this land could make to the future of Christchurch and New Zealand?’
What does Christchurch need, now and in the future, and how could the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor meet those needs.
We hope to see you there.
When: Tuesday 4 April 2017, 6 – 8pm
Where: Aranui Wainoni Community Centre, 31 Hampshire Street, Aranui
